Recently, in a representative SSO Easy client case study, a customer went live and into production with a critical SAML 2.0 Single Sign On SSO project.
The use case for the project involved users within the client organization acting as the Identity Provider, or IDP. The client's business partner was acting as the Service Provider, or SP.
For this critical project for the client, a large number of users needed to gain access to a vital external 3rd party software service. Single Sign On, or SSO, was critical to ensure the project's success. In order to provide the required Single Sign On capability, the SAML 2.0 protocol was leveraged by the client.
Before this project, the client had no prior SAML experience. The client also faced another big challenge, in that they had limited time to implement this critical SAML software solution.
After a lengthy evaluation process, the client selected SSO Easy as their SAML partner. They selected SSO Easy's EasyConnect solution with SAML 2.0 and SAML 1.1 support. Integration needed to be provided between the EasyConnect SAML product and the client's ASP.net environment. The client was able to achieve this ver easily using EasyConnect's out-of-the-box .net integration support feature.
The project was successfully implemented on time, and on budget.
No coding was required by the client to implement the solution.
