An SSO Easy client who used the EasyConnect product to enable Google Apps single sign on for IMAP / POP3 email client users also wanted to control and manage mobile user access to Google Apps by restricting access to Google Apps for remote users by using IP Address.
This key function available with EasyConnect allowed the client to effectively implement their desired Google Apps security policies, enabling them to govern who could gain remote access to Google Apps.

An SSO Easy customer had implemented the EasyConnect single sign on solution to enable Google Apps SSO. In addition, the client had another requirement. They needed to manage remote user access to Google Apps, and wanted to do this by restricting use access to Google Apps by IP Address. This approach, which is addressed out-of-the-box using EasyConnect, enabled the client to control and manage how various users and user groups were allowed to access Google Apps, especially when users were outside of the office environment and the office network.
