An SSO Easy client who used the EasyConnect product to enable Google Apps single sign on for IMAP / POP3 email client users also wanted to control and manage mobile user access to Google Apps by restricting access to Google Apps for remote users by using IP Address.
This key function available with EasyConnect allowed the client to effectively implement their desired Google Apps security policies, enabling them to govern who could gain remote access to Google Apps.

They needed to manage remote user access to Google Apps, and wanted to do this by restricting use access to Google Apps by IP Address.
